REPORTS/UPDATES

1. Consideration and action regarding approval of a resolution for the establishment of a Charter Review Commission, the appointment of commission members, for the purpose of reviewing and recommending changes to the City's Charter; establishing certain procedural matters regarding the commission and other matters related to the commission.

2. Consideration and action to enter a contract with Urban Infraconstruction LLC to repair/replace various concrete blocks on Mercury Road, per the specifications designed by Freeze & Nichols in the 50/50 Mercury Road, for an amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00.

3. Consideration and action to redirect funding to pay for a services agreement between Freeze & Nichols and the City of Balch Springs for the design, bid and construction engineering service for cement blocking, to be done on Mercury Road in the City at a cost not to exceed $115,813.72, to be paid out of the Street Maintenance Tax, as opposed to the American Rescue Plan funding.

4. Discussion and action to enter a 1-year renewable contract with Hi Tek Paving LLC, for an amount not to exceed $300,000.00 per fiscal year, to perform small asphalt repairs at the prices bid in response to the Request for Proposal project #22036.

5. Discussion and action to enter a 1-year renewable contract with Construction Companies Group - Management Group, LLC, Series B (CCGMC) for an amount not to exceed $300,000.00 per fiscal year, to perform small concrete, asphalt jobs and dirt work jobs the prices bid in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP) project #22036.

6. Discuss and action to approve a general fund transfer to fire maintenance line item 10-7350- 22, not to exceed $20,000; to be used to pay the final invoice to Siddons-Martin Emergency Group for a total of $77,442.19

7. Requests for information, and/or new business to be placed on future agenda(s).
